Maybe try Brauer's Teething Relief if you are worried about giving her nurofen all the time. It's homeopathic so unlike nurofen/panadol you can use it repeatedly without ill effects (following the directions of course!). I have a bottle here for DD and used it a few times but then I just kept forgetting..lol. But you give 4 doses to them every half hour (so 4 doses in 2 hours) and then every 4 hours as needed. So you could start giving it at lunch time/mid afternoon so you have say 6 hours before bedtime and then give a dose at bedtime to get her through the night. IDK if that would help but I guess anything is worth a try!
Lilima, DD is going thru almost the exact same thing - last night she grizzled on and off for about 2.5hrs between 11pm and 1.30am, I tried giving her water, changed nappy, in the end I gave her a cup of milk and that seemed to settle her. But then she was awake and grizzling at about 4am
I was only going in to see her when she got really worked up, even then half the time she wasn't even awake fully, just grizzling. I think its teeth too but reluctant to dose her on panadol every night... I don't have teething necklace, I might need to get one. But I do have Brauer's, might try that.
Not really any advice but just wanted to say you're not alone
Thanks everyone for replying. Turns out that she is unwell (Still doesn't account for a whole month of wakes ups, but def for last night) She vommited all over DH tonight, and has a temp of 39. So not sure what tonight will bring, but will just have to go with it tongiht be it that she is not well.
It could be teething. Somtimes I think there are a bunch of things going on, which leave them unable to sleep or settle well for weeks or months at a time - maybe your DD is experiencing some sort of perfect storm or something. Hope she's well soon at least
